Pre‑Screening & Free Health Clinic Program
Community Health Research Partners (CHRP) offers no-cost community screening opportunities and a chance to speak one-on-one with a clinician. Our goal is simple: help you understand your health a little better, learn about your options, and find out whether any of our current research studies may be a good fit for you. No pressure—just information and support.
What Is Pre‑Screening?
Pre-screening is a brief, general review and conversation. It gives you a chance to ask questions, share a little about yourself, and learn whether a research study might be worth exploring further.
A team member will walk you through what a study involves, what participation looks like, and what your next steps could be—based on your situation.
Important: Pre-screening does not guarantee eligibility or enrollment in any clinical study. It is simply a starting point.
What Screenings May Be Offered
Depending on the event and what is available, screenings may include:
- Glucose and HbA1c testing – A blood sugar screening to check general glucose levels
- Blood pressure screening – A quick, non-invasive check of your blood pressure
- BMI assessment, height, and weight measurements – Basic body measurements
- ECG/EKG – A heart rhythm screening that records your heart's electrical activity
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) – A common blood test panel that looks at general organ function and chemistry
- Liver ultrasound – A non-invasive imaging scan of the liver
- Skin cancer screening / skin check – A visual skin check by a clinician
Specific services may vary by event and individual circumstances. Not all screenings are available at every event.
